After your initial MicroneedlingRF appointment, you may notice your skin appears red or flushed. This will gradually dissipate over the next few days as your skin begins to repair itself. Patients who opt for a more aggressive treatment may notice a more pronounced red color and possibly swelling. However, you’re free to return to your normal activities after your treatment. You will need to avoid active sun exposure for two weeks pre or post treatment, and wait to apply makeup for 24 to 48 hours after your treatment.
